Regen Partner was first set up in 2019 by GT3 Architects founders, Mark Gowdridge and Simon Dunstan.

With over 20 years’ experience designing and delivering both elite and community-driven leisure centres, Mark recognised the funding and procurement challenges being faced by public authorities. As prudential borrowing rates continued to rise, and public health and wellbeing declined in the wake of Covid-19, facilitating the delivery of sport and leisure facilities became increasingly more important – and also increasingly difficult.

Regen Partner was originally created to enable public-sector organisations to access private equity funds, offering an alternative to soaring prudential borrowing costs. Over the last few years, and as our team have learnt and grown, the concept has developed tenfold. We are now incredibly proud, not only of our ability to source unique funding rates, but in the additional wider social benefits this model offers.

Whilst still facilitating the delivery of much needed sport, leisure and wellbeing facilities, our model now also seeks to use various development opportunities to address the housing shortage and social inequalities seen across the UK.
