With a reduction in grant funding from the RFU, coupled with rising construction inflation and low land costs, Coventry Rugby Club were facing challenges….

Regen Partner engaged with the club in October 2023 and are now putting in for planning on a high-quality development. The Club had previously  worked with a developer for over two years, resulting in a £700k land offer for development, which didn’t meet their capital and ongoing revenue requirements.

Through the intervention of 90 units of affordable later living, a capital receipt of £13M is helping deliver:

• a new 100 bed hotel (generating £700,000 per annum income)
• 105 units of key worker accommodation
• new diagnostics centre
• new 3000 seat stand with hospitality provision
• Consideration is also being made toa new centre for womens netball on the site.
